Kuan Yin, Mother of Compassion: 3rd Annual Goddess Celebration for Women

The event will be held February 6, 2010 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at a Glendale location. Kuan Yin will be celebrated through rituals, crafts, and presentations. Participants are encouraged to network their services, businesses, and resources. Promoting sisterhood and self-empowerment are primary goals.

An important part of the celebration is to donate to a charity that benefits women. The Kuan Yin event will contribute to the Sojourner Center in Phoenix, a shelter and support service to thousands of individuals affected by domestic violence.

Volunteers provide all leadership and program development.

$20 + craft fee, assigned dinner-menu contribution.
