Victoria prepares to enter circle.
Shelley and Chris prepare to represent the Goddess and the God. They were already posed like this when I happened to stroll by - such hams.
A group photo of the Sacred Round discussion group who are presenting this year's Closing Ritual. This rowdy bunch was enticed to stand still long enough for a snapshot with a cake and some ale on the end of a stick.
Like flames flickering in the wind, Dineta can (almost) be seen here hidden beneath the fiery fury of her flowing scarf as she dances in the Fire Quarter. Say that ten times real fast.
Desert Moon Circle's own Hummingbird ignites her flame by throwing her scarf into the air as she dances in the Fire Quarter. This is actually a video, it just looks like a picture because the scarf just got stuck there in the air.
Bethany and Michelle open the flood gates and rush in the Water Quarter.
Michelle does a graceful dip as though a wave on the water as she dances in the Water Quarter.
Sporting some of the most ornate costumes in the ritual, Desert Moon Circle's own Sandy (left) joins Victoria (right) in dancing in the Earth Quarter. They made a very well grounded pair.
Shelley and Chris evoking the Goddess and the God into the sacred circle.
A real life married couple, Shelley and Chris, representing here respectively the Goddess and the God, embrace for a kiss. Shelley and Chris are known to embrace in each of their rituals, and their seemingly endless desire and love for each other is truly inspiring. Awwwwe.
Drummers Ghost Bear (left) and Dan (right) beat out the rythms that set the tempo of the Earth Quarter at this year's Closing Ritual. They will be available for private parties and Bar mitzvahs once their World Tour wraps up, sometime in 2009.
Flowing as fluidly and gracefully as the Water she represents, Michelle takes part in dancing in the Water Quarter.
The whispy yellow scarfs flow gracefully as the performers dance the Air Quarter in. Seen here are Skye (in the foreground) and Desert Moon Circle's High Priestess, Caria.
A beautiful rendition of "Merry Meet, Merry Part and Merry Meet Again" performed by Maia Dawn. Her performance was absolutely amazing and mesmerizing to behold. A beautiful ending to a beautiful ritual.
